I’m an ANN encyclopedia staff member though I can’t say I contribute much apart from inputting lots and lots of staff and cast info, and poring through all those dreaded error reports.

Lovely art, lovely music, a pleasure to watch. I was amused to see my favourite pen animated, though mine are all 0.7 and not 0.5, lol.

As usual, there’s plenty of trains, clouds, poles and scenery. Character designs aren’t great (simplistic) but surely nobody watches Shinkai Makoto creations for that. Of course, screenshots can’t really convey just how pretty it is. The attention to detail is sublime.

Ratings? I always used to think they were kinda pointless. But I know it can get really annoying trying to read through all the waffling just to see if the reviewer thought it was good or bad (ie Mojo). tl;dr, yawn. So, ratings.

Setsuna is the star of this drama CD (despite her not being on the cover). There’s actually very few Konoka scenes, most of it focuses on Secchan, Negi, Asuna and Chamo.

I’ve adopted a different method for samples (the little gray bars below the album titles). Hopefully looks cleaner/tidier now, was getting fed up of writing playlists. Might take longer to load though. And I hope the songs don’t skip too much (the Tokimeki Memorial song does), I was having trouble with the GRAPEVINE song in particular.

A bit late, but it’s Kobayashi Yu’s birthday today(5 Feb)! お誕生日おめでとう！ハッピーバースデー! Now please tell us how old you are…..some ppl seem to think it’s 1982 but I’ve never seen anything official on that. Others think she’s anything between 27-30 (a bit like ‘How old is Goto Yuko really?’), though Nakahara Mai once mentioned ‘I’ve lived much longer than you have!’ (upon another show of stupidity by Kobayashi) which means she’s no older than 26. Hmmm.

Anyway, it’s Noto Mamiko’s birthday tomorrow as well – Happy 27th Mamimami!

I just ordered Mizuki Nana’s hits collection yesterday……….wonder how long it’ll take to arrive *grumble* Oh, and I’ve finally got around to ordering Minorin’s (Chihara Minori for the uninitiated) first album Heroine. I’ve got this massive list of anime/seiyuu CDs on my wish list but they always get pushed down by the J-indie stuff (cos it’s cheaper).

Random stuff:
1. Hirano Aya’s English is teh suck (watch Manabi Straight 05)
2. Anime I’ve picked up this season: Venus Versus Virus, Manabi Straight, Nodame. Saint October is a load of bullcrap.
3. I love Stekkin (and the new ED Pumpkin Ondo) from Pumpkin Scissors.
