This week’s not too bad in terms of releases as the anime record labels (Lantis/Starchild) take a breather. I’m actually more interested in the fact that Mizuki Nana’s announced a new as-yet-untitled single scheduled for release on 6th February 2008 (My…God…that’s so far away), I wonder what sort of tie-up it might be for. Moving on~~~
Music Ray’n finally launched a website for all their artists! (10 days ago anyway, but I just got round to writing this up now)…..I’ve been waiting for months and finally it’s here (tears of joy).

Why the heck am I so happy about this? Mainly cos I’ve had this slight (OK, major) obsession with Tomatsu Haruka since hearing her as Corti in the first episode of Shinkyoku Sokai Polyphonica back in April and have been scrounging around for whatever info about her that I can dig up, and the lack of an official site or blog made it a difficult task. I’m now a very happy bunny ^_^ so I’m gonna introduce Music Ray’n and its group of seiyuu to those who’d never heard of them before.

When it rains it pours….. Curse you record labels for making me listen to so much stuff this week! Which means another round of speed listening -_- I never thought I’d have a week as busy as the last week of last month but I’m proven wrong.
…. and to Watanabe Akeno, Nishimura Chinami, Hibi Aiko, Ant McPartlin, Peter Schemichel, Owen Wilson, Okada Junichi (V6), Chiba Ryohei (w-inds.), etc etc. And happy birthday to me too ^^;;; Yeah, it’s the 18th of November in this part of the world now. Share a birthday with a seiyuu?
I’d insert a decent image of some random anime character with a birthday cake, except that I can’t be bothered to bust out my scanner….. I should’ve taken a pic of the cake I was eating just now.
I just realised that this was the last day that my age would consist of two of the same digits…. until 2018 -_- Sigh. You know you’re getting old when 98% of anime characters are younger than you are, you start gaining an appreciation for classical music and you actually enjoy going into home appliance stores. Fast approaching a quarter life crisis~~~
I decided to do a separate post commemorating the release of GREAT ACTIVITY with a track-by-track review of the album instead of sticking it in TWIJ, plus a run-through the promotional activities Nana has been doing for it.

There’s not much Jpop out this week actually, and Mizuki Nana has taken up most of my time. Though I’m constantly being reminded that Christmas is just ’round the corner with a bunch of bad Japanese Xmas songs…..
So I haven’t been listening to radio shows as much these days, mostly skipping those that run on AM radio and sticking to the ones that air on the interweb. Anyway I had to split the original post into two parts as it was getting too long - the first is focusing on specific episodes of shows that I found interesting and the second will be a short intro to some of the autumn anime’s radio shows.
