Kurogane hints that Takako is like an embodiment of the yurimaniac j1m0ne. Maybe the nosebleed bits, but I was thinking I’m more like the ‘female viewers of Kannagi’ – so a bit of Takako + a bit of Akiba-kun…
…though thank god I’m not a mindless otaku who complains about used goods.
I hear the entire Munto cast will be replaced – unsurprising since the OVA had people I’ve never heard of.
Kato Emiri’s solo album ‘vivid’ cover
Wisely kept her mouth shut, but the thing on her head… Album release through Pony Canyon, genre = electropop like Pafume (sic – it’s Perfume, you silly copywriters) which is probably not good. At least Inoue Marina’s Beautiful Story was the real thing, being produced by god of electropop Nakata Yasutaka while this seems like a knock-off. Will reserve further judgement until it’s out.
Kato Emiri & Shiraishi Minoru acting debut
Still on Kato Emiri-related news. She and Shiraishi Minoru will be cameo-ing in an episode of the dorama adaptation of light novel Joshi-Daisei Kaikeishi no Jikenbo, which airs 19th November. Shots of both with author Yamada Shinya above.

…Tomatsu will be unavoidable in 2009 it seems already. White Album, Asu no Yoichi, Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou, Asura Cryin’, maybe new Polyphonica anime, continuation of Gundam 00 & Zettai Karen Children, maybe Eva 2.0, maybe Shina Dark if it ever sees the light of day… she’s turning into Noto Mamiko or something.

Ah yes, new Polyphonica anime. I’m not sure I’m that excited since I never finished season 1, but it was the series that launched Tomatsu Haruka for me. Anyway we are being promised BRAND NEW STAFF, BRAND NEW VISUAL & BRAND NEW STORY so maybe the original cast won’t even be retained. Two more days to go…
Seiyuu tie the knot
Minor seiyuu get married, announced via blogs. Sonozaki Mie (Gertrud in Strike Witches) & Wakabayashi Naomi (Ritsuko in idolmaster), both in their mid-30s will probably retire and stay at home & cook vegetables.

Shimizu Ai now ‘free’
Shimizu Ai leaves 81produce now she’s free to pursue relationship with Nakahara Mai. She’s so free she’s suddenly started blogging almost everyday 
She did perform at Lantis’ twilight listening party 5 event on November 9.

Ueda Kana profile is stuck in reverse gear again. I just know I won’t finish it this year, I anticipate a busy time work-wise for the rest of 2008 – Santa is not bringing me an extended holiday as a xmas prez this year.
LOL at Pony Canyon. They are so desperate in getting back into the whole anime otaku crowd that they are signing Kato Emiri – which for all intent and purpose can’t really sing that well and had only one break away hit role as Kagamin of LS where the character is more famous than the seiyuu. Such a wise choice. But I guess if they’re just aiming for a few thousand copies they’ll still probably get that number.

More Minami-ke!! I’ll accept the fugliness if it means more Chiaki. ^^
I haven’t watched a full episode of Lucky Star, but I just love Minoru Shiraishi! He’s one of the few seiyuu that actually make me laugh hard. Plus his singing isn’t bad, too.
