A Few Notes….
-I’d like to blog Kawaii!JeNny, but nobody in their right mind is going to do raws for this so off to Niconico we go. It’s a real riot though, and one of the best ways to waste 15 minutes ^^; Momoi makes a stupidly funny villain along with her stupid Nazipedobear-with-Kansai-accent sidekicks and Nogawa Sakura is saccharine sweet as our spastic udon-loving heroine Jenny. I must confess though - I love the ending song High Energy by Momoi & Nogawa, it’s suitably cheesy with well… a lot of energy.
-TWIJ on hiatus this week, I’ve been busy watching new anime and have had no time to listen to music.
-Verdicts on stuff I watched so far:
Success: Sketchbook, BAMBOO BLADE, Suteki Tantei Labyrinth

-Kaneda Tomoko is back in annoying squealing mode for My;You after her tolerable turn in sola. And I can’t stand it -_- though the ‘Stick your fingers in your ears!’ bit did amuse me. It may be cute if she’s voicing somebody like Chiyo-chan or even Marie (the alien thing in the Onegai series) but when it comes from a teenage girl…………
-Banner change, I was getting bored of seeing Aria-shachou up there. Still keeping with the ARIA theme though with a scan from my Alpha artbook. I’m pretty excited that a third season (ARIA The ORIGINATION) is in the works, but I hope that they kill off Cait Sith cos those episodes were oh so boring.
-The post I was doing on top 10 seiyuu singers is almost there, to be shortly followed by a belated Top xx Anime Songs of All-time feature. I’m also still working on a guide to anime games in Japanese.

My god…Blue drop is boring as hell and yuri yuri…^^; Myself;Yourself is so so but for some reason I can’t stand Nanaka’s reaction though. For god’s sake, people changes alot during puberty especially girl so I think it’s nature for Sana not recognize her at all.(That stupid girl wouldn’t talk to him either so how else can he know?!) That was way overboard.^^; I do like the character design though since always been a fan o Sasaki Mutsuki.

I think Blue Drop is really boring too, but it seems a lot of ppl like it *shrug* I watched Shana too, but I guess since you didn’t like the first one you won’t bother with it now.
There weren’t any new shows last night but the next two look pretty busy with Minamike, Prism Ark, ef, Shugo Chara, Jyushin Enbu & Rental Magica. Oh, and Gundam of course….

At least Shana isn’t boring as hell as Blue drop which I was keeping myself it’d get better any minutes.^^; I think I sorta see a pattern/relation for Shana and Zero no Tsukaima…both are originally light novels or something like that right? For some reason I kinda find the setting of both sorta plain and missing something. Not saying Shana is bad but I’m really puzzled by her popularity…(Kugimiya Rie alone can’t really do that much…so is tsundere type…hmm…)
By the way, this season seems to be filled with Sawashiro Miyuki. Is she taking a break from school or something?^^; Yajima Akikko is the same this year. She’s more active than before. Kinda unusual I thought.

Kaneda Tomoko shouldn’t be allowed to voice anyone or anything over the age of about 12. I finally got around to watching Myself; Yourself last night and couldn’t help but wonder who’s idea it was to have her voice a character like Aoi. I also thought Blue Drop was a pretty slow, but the last couple minutes made me want to at least watch the next one to see if it gets better. I look forward to reading your top 10 seiyuu singers post. I thought about doing that once, but I realized it would be me comparing 9 others to Mizuki Nana who I’d stick at #1.
I did do a top 15 favorite OP/ED songs list though, which was pretty fun to write. Could easily have done more than 15, but then it would have been too much.

I had a bit of debate in my head about who to put at No.1 (it was one of two choices). Is it Nana? You’ll find out soon enough
I couldn’t get my top anime songs list down to 15 T_T It’s at 25 at the moment and I hope to cut off 5 more but I doubt it’ll happen. Our lists are pretty divergent and… there’s only one song we have in common ^^;; I like a lot of your choices, but I guess I’m a bit stuck in the 80s/90s cos most of mine are from that time period.

j1m0ne, are you still watching Mokke? I personally thought it’s pretty nice. Second episode is alot better than the first one. By the way, am I the one being really hooked by Clannad’s ED song, Dango Daikazoku… Don’t know why I really like that song.^^; Hopefully the single would be out soon. The series is pretty good too as expect from Key games.Giving up finishing games before watching anime this time as I still haven’t finished AIR.>_< If that keeps up I’d probably won’t be able to see the series even after little buster.^^;

Haven’t actually gotten to checking out Mokke ep2 yet, been preoccupied with other things like Genshiken 2, Minami-ke, Moyashimon and Kodomo no Jikan. Will watch it soon, hopefully it does get better like you say cos I wasn’t impressed at all by the 1st ep.
Kojika was regrettably chopped to bits and the random boxes for censoring wasn’t too clever. I might wait til the DVDs come out before I watch any more of it….

Mokke is pretty unique I thought as they don’t actually show the mononoke since Mizuki can only feel but not seeing them like her sister. The first episode wasn’t much of an attention grabber but does set up the series for later episode to be presented better. Pretty much check out all the avaialble ones that are aired so far other than ef and Kojika(I do need to take a break…hehe. Obviously no Shana as it’s kinda pointless if I never finished the first season.) I thought there are quite a bit decent stuff to watch. Moyashimon is also quite different and looks promising after checking out first episode. By the way, Sakaguchi Daisuke seems to be quite active this season too like Yajima and Sawashiro from female seiyuu side.
