A Picture Tells a Thousand Words
Or should that be ‘a picture speaks louder than words’?
Okay, so I apologise for not posting a picture of Horie’s Yui’s actual legs in that post about legs. Hope this one makes up for it.
I think Asumin should go back to the twintail look.
Stupid Internet Rumour #64351: Konishi Katsuyuki is so totally getting it on with Inoue Marina – they even have matching rings!
Marina seems to be wearing the ring on a randomly chosen finger on a randomly chosen hand, and I’m sure if they wanted to choose matching rings they wouldn’t go for some morbidly black one *facepalms* I’m actually pretty annoyed by whoever this person posting all this crap is, he’s derailing as many 2channel threads as he can by copy/pasting all this supposed evidence of Marina & Konishi being an item. Must be the same dude with the Nana/Sakurai theories.
It always amuses me to see/hear Okite Porsche in Mahou Tsukai blabla: Natsu no Sora. I mean, the guy’s insane, so I’m surprised that Morishita (the assistant teacher) isn’t more of a nutcase.
I’m hoping to make Seiyuu Zettai Ryoiki the next subject of my series of visual studies, so if anyone’s got any good pics email them to me! Here’s one for your previewing pleasure:

Yes….this picture of Hocchan’s legs more than make up for the last thread. Though the pervert in me could not help but think “JUST A BIT HIGHER!”
Thanks!
Yea, exactly–who’s looking at her legs?
I don’t think much of them, now that I’m looking at it. She tries.
Ehhhh~ That rumour annoyed me! Whose the damn person posting that!? =@
Yui Horie “Hot Legs” pic: (strikeout)WIN(/strikeout) meh!? She has more than a face and princess hair? “Just a bit higher!” You can already see a trim of exercise shorts or something. Sexy Fail because zettai ryouiki is all about the mystery. Still, good job on this find. “She tries” Really?! This is my first time to see something this revealing on Hocchan, but I’m no journeyman.
BTW, This type of picture reminds me of the glossy unofficial pictures you can buy at those photo-shops or temporary stands after an anime concert. They have that professional photographer touch to them, no bad apples and no pantsu shots. I got a bunch of on stage pictures of Yui Horie, Yukari Tamura, the previous two both sharing a stage (as Yamato Nadeshiko?), and Sakura Nogawa, oh so long ago. One of Nogawa pics is pretty zettai ryouiki.
“kyaaa!” pic: is this a seiyuu person or someone else?
I have noticed you are concentrating on visuals instead of music on your blog lately. Perhaps Real Life and Working for a Living are taking a toll on your free time?
lol @ Okite Porsche, another Hard Gay fanatic xD
@Seiyuu Zettai Ryoiki: Here’s that Sakura Nogawa picture
Okay, the photo itself is fading, and my scanner is probably too old. Terrible, terrible, it probably doesn’t pass the j1m0ne post standards. But! Strap sandals FTW. And I think the girl to the right is Ryoko Shintani. I never did figure out what this event was, though it’s got to be 2000-2003. Can any real seiyuu fans tell me?
@Seiyuu Zettai Ryoiki: Another ZR-themed photo that I scanned for you: Yukari Tamura in striped stockings.
The quality of my scans leaves a lot to be desired
I want a new scanner (this one is a cheap CanonScan N1220U) and I need to learn some post-scan cleanup techniques.
@Seiyuu Zettai Ryouiki: Another ZR-themed photo I scanned before I go aggro and buy a new scanner: Yamato Nadeshiko (Yui Horie and Yukari Tamura) in black frill short skirts. I swear the photo on paper looks better (?).
I am disappointed that the group Yamato Nadeshiko was so short-lived. Then again these two superstars would probably step on each other’s toes eventually. Did these two ride (or start?) the visual seiyuu trend?
The kyaaa pic is Tanaka Rie. Thanks for those pics (especially the Nogawa one) – I’ll file them away for future use!
@j1m0ne: You’re welcome. Thanks for your blog and posts!
@”Rie Tanaka kyaaa”: I would have never guessed. She’s so pretty. That reminds me, you know there was a seiyuu magazine article with her earlier this year (some Hayate no Gotoku seiyuu photo-shoot with the two other people?) where she showed off her awesome legs while in some really short shorts? It was in one of those mags that you cover, though I don’t know which issue and I don’t have it.
I wonder if there’s a danbooru-like site for seiyuu pictures.
My apologies… these were absolutely awesome pictures, but I was extremely late on being able to release my commentary, thanks to the spine-cracking blows and heart-stopping uppercuts of that deadly adversary known as my junior year of high school. Since everyone’s pretty much said everything that I’d wanted to say, I’ll just cut my opinions short:
@Hocchan Hot Legs: Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm… ohhh, yeah…
@Asumi Kana was a chubby kid: Personally, I think her ‘advanced weight’ gave her a very endearing and cute quality as a young girl. I prefer her current hairstyle, though, as it gives Asumi a more womanly appearance (considering the fact that she’s nearing 25 years old, wearing twintails might cause people to mistake her for being much younger (which reminds me of a certain 24-years-of-age seiyuu connoisseur whose name starts with “j1m” and ends with “0ne”)).
Inoue Marina and Konishi Katsuyuki “getting it on”/even wearing the same ring/close-up of that ring: Eh… I LOVE Inoue, but I’ve never really cared for Konishi (he’s an extremely talented actor, but I don’t think much of anything about him otherwise). Same for Mizuki Nana and Sakurai Takahiro.
@Okite Porsche animated: He’s funny (being named after a vehicle only makes him even cooler), but I don’t really care much about this otherwise.
@Rie Tanaka Kyaaa!: (see my Hocchan Hot Legs comment. The fact that she’s wearing glasses only makes it even funkier (yes, I am in the small minority of men who consider women donning spectacles sexy; as you can imagine, I was quite enamored with one of your earlier Chihara Minori pictures (not in a disgusting way, though), and it’s from that post back in June where you had quickly spoken of Kanbe Miyuki’s death, among a huge string of topics).)
@piyo: I just REALLY wanted to thank you for those pictures. I actually APPRECIATE the way in which you scanned them; they truly have a seriously “live in concert” feel that, in actuality, makes them seem more authentic and genuine than the norm (not taking a swing at you, j1m0ne; I’m just giving him his props where they’re well-deserved and earned). I’ve also got to agree with you that I miss Yamato Nadeshiko… I’m always wishing and praying that Tamura Yukari and Horie would one day reunite and start performing songs again under that group name for a resurrection (same with Aice5… Love Power was just such a timeless track; a rare gem in a vast wasteland of bland and boring J-pop, IMO, and the church bell/organ musical scheme still gives me goosebumps).
Oh, wait… I forgot that Asumi Kana TURNED TWENTY-FIVE ONE WEEK AGO. I’m extremely sorry about this… -_-
And I take, now and forevermore, EVERYTHING back that I’ve ever said about Horie Yui having ‘Christmas tree knees.’ After seeing THIS picture (a.k.a. demonstration of Yui’s raw beauty and elegance), I’m REQUIRED by seiyuu fan law to give her the well-deserved props I shamefully kept away from Horie earlier (once again, I apologize).
…Today..I woke up, sat down in front of my sister’s laptop, munching away on yesterday’s leftover pizza while drinking coffee and I clicked the “read more” link of this post. The FIRST picture loaded and I almost spilled everything onto the laptop. Now, I’m recovering from a severe choke of pizza and coffee all trying to go up to my nose.
All thanks to that picture of Hoc-chan. I had that picture somewhere…but didn’t actually like view it…and somehow I found my eyes staring at….*ahem*…well..staring at…*cough cough*
Ahhh once again, j1m0ne pawned me good.
*me sends another bottle of champagne to j1m0ne*
@townberry:
Thanks for that idea, my friend. Now that I think about it, it’d be nice of me to send j1m0ne something too. *me sends j1m0ne the entire Konami “Metamorphic Force” soundtrack from 1993*
Trust me when I say that it is perhaps the greatest video game score ever composed (at least for an arcade title). It’s AWESOME.
Oh, yeah… I didn’t figure out how to execute that neat little string of text that lets you add a link in-post, so you’ll have to click on my name to download it.
Thanks for the champagne. Not sure about the OST though, lol. Will give it a listen later.
@j1m0ne:
Thank you for at least considering it.
I know it’s irrelevant and off-topic, but, hopefully, if you do decide to give this soundtrack a listen, you’ll truly end up enjoying it (and it’s no exaggeration to say that I was REALLY blown away when I first heard this). Although I understand that it is a little bit different from what you’re used to.
Here are some selections that I would most recommend hearing at least once:
-The Ruins of Bakyaros (heat)
-Cabrios Appears ~ The Goat and the Giant (FIRE)
-Cave of Fire (FIRE)
-Freezing Ground (heat)
-Coliseum of Revenge (FIRE)
-Death Shadow (FIRE)
I don’t know if you’ve got enough free time to do so, but perhaps you could experiment with your new album scoring system and review this one… ~:-) It’s just a suggestion, though.
