Cast + Staff For ToLove-Ru & Shina Dark revealed
At JUMP Festa over the weekend, more details of the ToLove-Ru anime (to air in the 2008 spring season) were revealed. Despite the rumours, it is not GONZO that will handle the animation, but XEBEC (Mahou Sensei Negima). I’m not sure that’s a good thing…. The drama CD cast is retained, which means a huge line-up of big names - in full:

OK, so the real reason I’m interested in this is cos of Tomatsu Haruka ^^; I mentioned a few weeks back that she might also be cast in Shaft’s upcoming (air date unknown) adaptation of Nakayama Bunjuro(Mahoromatic)’s Shina Dark, and this has also been confirmed. Wait, half the cast seems to be in ToLove-Ru as well. Sorry for the rubbish romanizations of the names…..

Um… that character design image looks a bit weird… I don’t remember Lala being that much taller than Yuki and Haruna…

The cast for ToLove-Ru looks quite promising, but the Xebec part scares me. And to think they did some of my favorites in Nadesico and Stellvia. I don’t think I’ve recovered from their version of Negima yet.
