Since my bank balance is still too low to enable me to buy DVDs, I thank the gods (and pirates) for rips, Nico Nico Douga and Youtube. Anyway, I’d seen a digest of it on Nicovideo already but finally got to watch the full half-hour special of STARCHILD Collection 2007’s Minami-ke segment held at Shibuya O-East on 27th October last year. It was pretty fun show hosted by Anispa presenter/music producer Washizaki Takeshi and featuring the seiyuu for the three main Minami girls (Inoue Marina, Chihara Minori & Satou Rina from L-R in the picture above) plus Fujioka (Kakihara Tetsuya) and Hosaka (Ono Daisuke).

Satou Rina is often overlooked, and in fact, I don’t think a lot of people actually recognise her name at all. And if they do, it’s probably because she voices Negi Springfield. I myself am quite a fan of her voice, and think it’d be nice if people knew a little more about her. |
