2007 in Review - Seiyuu
Next up in the series of restropects is seiyuu. No I’m not gonna dish out any silly awards, just a general overview of what went on in the seiyuu world in 2007.

Finally got down to the anime section. At first I had trouble remembering what I actually watched this year, spent a while browsing through wikis & blogs and finally succumbed to the temptation and signed up for MAL. Now I can keep track of what I’ve watched better….. I think.
In retrospect, I actually thought 2007’s batch of anime was better than last year’s mainly thanks to the slew of good shows from the spring season - the winter and summer batch were pretty awful but that’s something of a tradition by now. Anyway, here’s my best ofs plus a few random awards thrown in.
Next in my series of 2007 lists is video game songs, though it could almost be called ‘Top Ten Eroge Songs’ instead.

Kicking things off is the anime music section - thank God I have all those TWIJ columns to refresh my memory as to what was released throughout the year, cos I’ve got a memory like a sieve. As a note the 2007 Oricon calendar year ran from 25th December 2006 to 17 December 2007, so anything released between those dates is eligible.
It’s time to take a look at what was hot and what wasn’t in Animeland this year. I don’t think 2006 was quite as good as 2005, but perhaps that’s because a lot of the shows I’m enjoying are still running.

First of all, I’d like to say that Football Manager is evil, pure evil. I’ve lost years of my life to that blasted game. Moving on…..
Now that the Oricon year is over, time to post one of those boring best ofs. I had been keeping similar lists for the last 9-10 years (on paper) but seem to have misplaced them. Aargh. Read more »
