I thought I’d just shoot out this piece of info for those not already aware – Inoue Marina and Ono Daisuke will be joining the cast of Negima for the Ala Alba OAD as Inugami Kotaro and Ku:Nel Sanders respectively, as announced at the Negima event yesterday. Since it’s the weekend, there’s no detailed coverage of the event as yet – will wait a few days and do a bumper Inoue Marina updates post then.

Setsuna is the star of this drama CD (despite her not being on the cover). There’s actually very few Konoka scenes, most of it focuses on Secchan, Negi, Asuna and Chamo.

I’ve spent the best part of 3 hours listening to nearly a dozen versions of 1000%SPARKING and A-LY-YA! on my iPod and I think I won’t be too bothered if I never hear some of them again…..unlike the original Negima’s Happy Material which had the singing line-ups according to their student number, these have them (roughly) in their own little groups – the cheerleaders, the Walking Club etc. I don’t know why, but for the most part the versions of 1000% SPARKING are almost always better than A-LY-YA!.

Part 2 – Konoka Love, my God. And Aipon’s Setsuna cake made me laugh.

I love a lot of the characters Yu plays; the weird (Lala Gonzalez), the wacky (Ayame Sarutobi), and the cool (Setsuna Sakurazaki) but hearing/seeing her in person is a little….. strange at times. She just seems awfully apologetic and overly polite all the time, as if her presence is causing trouble to others ;/
