I think I haven’t written any profiles in such a long time I’ve forgotten how so to ease myself back in, I’m starting off with a long-time personal favourite. First heard her in Vandread (as Parfet), then in .hack//SIGN, and the love was sealed with Maria-sama ga Miteru. I think she’s well-known enough that she needs no introduction – it’s Toyoguchi Megumi.

Amazingly, I managed to produce another seiyuu profile before the turn of the century. I’ve finally reached double digits! I thought profile #10 should be reserved for someone special so I decided to choose someone from my top 10 favourite female seiyuu list. Someone who’s preferrably young, hip and visually pleasant – that narrowed my list down to only 2-3 candidates. So after some deliberation I settled on someone who I’ve been a fan of from the very first time I heard her voice. Ladies and gentlemen, the life and times of Nakahara Mai. Wow, a seiyuu profile – something I haven’t done in a really long time (the last one was in August’ 07). I knew I said I’d do one for Ito Shizuka a long, long time ago so rejoice, Shizuka-sama fans! I’ve finally got it done ^^; Warning: Image Heavy. The focus of this post is Ito Shizuka’s harem. But first, a little intro to the woman behind all those sexy voices. Satou Rina is often overlooked, and in fact, I don’t think a lot of people actually recognise her name at all. And if they do, it’s probably because she voices Negi Springfield. I myself am quite a fan of her voice, and think it’d be nice if people knew a little more about her. Since she’s already the subject of so many of my ‘Misc’ posts I just thought I’d do the deed and get her profile written. This is probably the easiest one I’ve done so far as my brain is full to the brim with useless Kobayashi trivia anyway, I’m a keen fan of her voice work… amongst other things. A short (and sweet) profile on Kitamura Eri, one of the up-and-coming seiyuu that people should keep an eye on & an ear out for. Like fellow young gun Inoue Marina, 2007’s proving to be a particularly good year for the teenager and she looks set to have a bright future in the industry.
