I think I wasted most of my breath on raving about MURAMASA☆ this week so you know I think something is awful if the review is only one line long. Also doesn’t help that there a lot of high-profile Jpop releases out at the same time… If you ever wanted to hear a duet between Chihara Minori and Mizuki Nana… Lots of new music out this week again, lovely. Notice how the reviews towards the end get shorter and less comprehendable as my brain runs out of steam. Er yes, I wrote all of this at the same time I was listening to the songs, all in one go – it’s not very fun, I can tell you. I think that Special A has one of the worst pairs of opening and ending themes in anime history, they both make my skin crawl. It’s the albums’ turn to get some harsh treatment. Quite a few releases out this week, mostly soundtrack albums though. I also lack the time to listen to everything in one go so reviews will be split into singles and albums. Singles up first. This week’s offerings are pretty poor (bar a certain soundtrack album). In fact, I found watching two nights worth of screechy, scratchy American Idol performances much more entertaining than struggling through this mostly tuneless, mostly souless pile of cack. Woops, I just revealed that I actually watch American Idol – I swear it’s cos I’m bored. |
