Chihara Minori new single – Paradise Lost
Just to quickly follow up moyism’s post on Minorin’s new single – as speculated, Paradise Lost is indeed the Ga-Rei Zero OP theme. Lantis has quickly updated its site with the cover, but no further details on the CD contents or extras as yet.
The song is typical Kikuta Daisuke fare, but I think it’s the best of all the songs from Parade we’ve heard so far. And if you wonder why I’ve hardly mentioned Minorin’s new album recently it’s because I’m thoroughly underwhelmed by the music – don’t like Voyager Train much. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of a photobook with the Dream limited edition though!
Go get Adobe Flash Player!
Sorry no Minorin pics, I’m in the office and my image archives are miles away at home
I offer a LQ sample of Paradise Lost instead.
Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that this is Minorin’s first ever anime opening or ending theme – dunno if Ga-Rei has enough fans to pull in more sales though, and with it being so close to Parade’s release date… maybe Paradise Lost won’t be on the album?

[...] show finally gets a real theme song, and as speculated, it is Minorin’s latest single song, as well as the first time she sings solo for an anime OP/ED. It’s quite similar in tone to [...]
I don’t think it will be in Parade, but it doesn’t matter since I’m getting both.
I like Voyager train more btw :-/ maybe you don’t because it’s Melty-ish, lol.. but can’t really judge it only with 1 minute clip.
I like Melty more than Voyager Train, but I think Paradise Lost might be my favourite of the three songs.
By the way… does anyone else find the Paradise Lost CD cover attractive in a slightly provocative way? XD
Actually I’m more tolerant of Melty now that I’ve heard Voyager Train. I’m still getting both Paradise Lost & Parade though (even if they suck to the end of the universe). I think us seiyuu idol fans are insane that way
@OtaAgg
Anything with Minorin on it is attractive xD
hmm… looks like even Minorin’s blog updated with the announcement of Paradise Lost. Crazy how last second they’re doing this XD
Jyunpaku Sanctuary was the ED for Kiddy Grade 2 pilot DVD, but no one remembers it for of that fact. Regardless, I hope she’ll get more opportunities to do themes for anime outside of character singing groups, and more popular anime at that.
The cover for Paradise Lost seems like there would be Spanish guitars and maracas all around, not that it would be a bad thing. Song sounds pretty normal from what Minorin usually releases, though.
this paradise lost is only used in episode 3, why why why…
will they used paradise lost again in another episode?? i hope so.. XD
this song is good..
maybe like basilisk anime they rotating nana’s wild eyes and hime murasaki??
@moyism
Uh… I guess the whole secrecy thing is supposed to generate publicity for both Ga-Rei and Minorin. Not sure anyone but hardcore fans are paying attention though
@Mei
Really, the Kiddy Grade thing hardly counts does it? It was just a pilot episode after all. And whatever happened to the sequel or whatever it was supposed to be?
@mda111
Paradise Lost is the official opening and Yume no Ashioto ga Kikoeru the ending, so yes you’ll be hearing it more often.
Okay, now I’m confused again about her ‘Fragment ~Shooting star of the origin~’ song…
Ne, can any1 send me paradise lost? pls pls pls XD

Late entry is just a tad late, but I’m finding both the song and the anime series to be enjoyable. The song is packed with energy in a way as to make for a fun listening experience and the anime’s plot has been pretty good so far.
