Eh… you the same person?
Someone put this on Seiup and I burst out in laughter (again). It never fails to amuse me how Kamiya Hiroshi made the transition from extreme nerd to moody bishonen in the blink of an eye – I guess now he’s in cool shows like Gundam he needs to perfect his pretty boy look. I still remember the day I first watched Ultra Maniac – upon hearing Kaji-kun’s sexy voice, I hurried to look up his seiyuu’s face.. … and I nearly threw up my dinner upon seeing it (pic on the left). It’s the hair. And the teeth. The cheesy grin. The glasses. And the hair. Yes, the hair.
Just looking at the pictures above… it’s amazing what a decent haircut can do. Or a pair of glasses. Or maybe, just stop smiling and try to look menacing (that’s you, Taniyama Kisho). I think they were mostly changes for the better though…1000yen to the first person who can name me all of the seiyuu up there (haha, I deliberately put in lots of male seiyuu)!
I got most of the pics off Anime News Network, where library staff powers come in handy for stealing archived images :3 Oh, and I’m not saying any of them are fugly or have fat faces or anything. I just like to see how an oyaji can get turned into an ikemen with a pair of scissors & some hairspray.
Eeh I think Chiaking was cute. Though she’s better off as an ero-kawaii seiyuu now lol.
And I like Kishow’s smile.
Shhhhhiit I’m missing 6 names.. can I get 750 yen? Give up. I’m not good at remembering men, er, ugly faces.
What I’ve got anyway.
i can name some the young male seiyuus (i think)-Fukuyama Jun, Takahiro Sakurai,Taniyama Kisho,Namikawa Daisuke, Satsuki Yukino (she’s my fav so i remember her ^^;),Daisuke Ono, Miyu Irino,Hiroyuki Yoshino(that’s like a degrade for me O.o)skip, skip, Morikawa Toshiyuki(eehh maji!!?),Daisuke Kishio, Mamoru Miyano and Shinichiro Miki on the lower part of the pics. The ojisans are very familiar though.. fO.o akio ohtsuka? norio wakamoto-sama?
i must say, Hiroshi Kamiya almost remind me of Yamapi, darn..

Hahahahaha, this is hilarious, but very interesting. I suppose since many seiyuu have pseudo-celebrity status, it’s only natural.
(Equally hilarious is the transformations of many male jrockers… especially the VK lot.

GJ, got most of them right. Except Kishio… there’s no Kishio in there xD I tried hard to find that one ugly pic of him from his younger days but I seem to have lost it, heh.

Kamiya looks kind of like my freshman Social Studies teacher in the far left picture…weird ><. I nearly died after seeing how much he’s changed.
Same with the other seiyuu pics. I can’t believe how different each seiyuu looks in each picture! Their facial structures seem different in some of them (i.e. Miyano’s face look longer in the second picture).
I can only recognize 5 or 6 of these people OTL.
Yukarin looks just like my school belle, both before AND after.
There’s something in her eyes that constantly remind me of her though.
