Happy New Year 2008
New year greetings to you, you and you! No resolutions for me this year, I never keep them anyway.
2008 is the year of the rat, which I only remembered cos I am a rat myself. Sneaky, cunning, conniving… yeap, that describes me down to a tee! Not glad that it is the rat year though, cos it means I’m another 12 years older (涙).
Yeah, I wrote that new year’s message up top - every year you see the ones written by animators and seiyuu in Newtype/Animage etc & I thought I’d try my hand out at it myself, in as many languages as I could muster. And as you can see… I can’t exactly draw ^^;;

Looking at some of the seiyuu’s efforts above (click to enlarge), I’m rather impressed. A lot of them chose to go with the rat theme; my favourites are Ito Shizuka (No.103), Tai Yuuki (132), Takagaki Ayahi (133) and Yamaguchi Kappei (155). Sugita Tomokazu’s (127) drawing made me laugh as usual ^^; The prettiest handwriting is Suwabe Junichi’s (130) and Koyasu Takehito (118) & Sakurai Takahiro (122) are as boring as ever.
Anyway, hope you all have a fun-filled day with lots of drinking and merry-making! Thanks for reading this blog throughout 2007 - I plan to bring you more incessant ramblings in 2008 and hopefully this time next year I’ll be sitting here typing exactly the same greetings ^_^

Akemashita Omedetou! Yes, please keep up the great work. This post is another nice one. Oh, yes, Suwabe Junichirou’s offering was pretty starry. I enjoyed Gotou Yuuko’s, too — among many others.

Ah, Meikyu Butterfly. Erm… well it was OK. On reflection, it’s probably better than COSMIC LOVE….. A bit belated, but thanks to all for the new year wishes.
