The Ga-rei ones are all on NicoDouga if you have an account, check out http://www.nicovideo.jp/mylist/9007397

I do have all the archived shows as well, if you have any specific episodes you're looking for let me know and I'll see what I can do (after the weekend).

Mediacatcher (Applian) is a very good tool too and do not need "cracking" in an usual meaning of this word. It let me download preview-version PVs from Lantis pages about newcoming singles while no other program helps. I even uploaded that PV on youtube before Lantis, lol.
By the way, what about radio shows in the strange .smi(or aac) format? Some time ago Minorhythm was in this format and no matter what I did, I wasnt able to download/listen to downloaded files. Thank God they switched to wma.

I am forced to use a lot of OS (I work as a technician and linux system admin at a local varsity) and honestly, if you want to do something hassle free and easy just go for windows. While I love Macs, it's not worth it to do something like this lol

Also might want to use the free Orbit Downloader. It has an inbuilt FLV downloader, and it's spyware/addons free, which is quite surprising for a totally free software

FWIW, on Linux and other Unices (I wouldn't be surprised if there were more user-friendly options, but I like command-line stuff):

- for YouTube, there's youtube-dl: http://www.arrakis.es/~rggi3/youtube-dl/

- for NicoNico, there's niconico-dl: http://sourceforge.jp/projects/nicovideo-dl/

Given a URL, these programs download the corresponding .sfv or .mp4. Mplayer can play both these formats and also extract the audio from them.

To get the mms:// URL, I usually just look at the .asx file (it's a simple text file), but if you really want to sniff the traffic, you can use tcpdump or ethereal.

To download the mms:// stream, mplayer usually does the job with

 mplayer -dumpstream -dumpfile file.wma mms://host/path/to/file.wma

But today I found out that this doesn't work that well if you need a proxy :( . After searching a little, I found mimms and with

 http_proxy=http://someproxy mimms mmsh://mars.primestage.net/solidex/animate/r09010097_qj5bcb_nb.wma

I managed to download the latest marimite webradio ^^/ (I used mmsh:// instead of mms:// just to make it use the http proxy directly without waiting for the mms:// connection to timeout).

All these programs are installable on debian/ubuntu with a simple "aptitude install program-name". They all probably also work on mac and, other than mimms, even on windows.

@anony mouse
I have noooooo idea. Never used a mac in my life before - it's not a feasible choice for a technophobe in a backwater state, I'm afraid ;(
