Maria†Holic Manga Overview + Drama CD cast

I heard the news that Mariaholic was getting a drama CD sometime last month and again, I paid it no attention cos the basic premise of the manga already made me laugh. Brief outline-
Author: Endo Minari, who also draws Hatenko Yugi - the anime starts in January.
Setting: All-girls’ school
Serialization: Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive, which also runs the manga adaptations of Zero no Tsukaima and Kanokon.
Tankobon: So far two have been released.
Covers

The main character is a 2nd-year high school girl called Miyamae Kanako (宮前かなこ). She’s 173cm tall (that’s frickin huge for an Asian girl *_*), and has a morbid fear of men…. so much so that she breaks out in hives whenever a member of the opposite sex touches her. Yep, Kanako’s a secretly yuri character who totally loves bishojo, and has a tendency to get massive nosebleeds when she sees someone that’s her ‘type’. She entered the school to find herself a beautiful girlfriend. Yay. So far so corny.
The other main character is a popular 1st-year student named Shido Mariya (祇堂鞠也), who posseses the sort of looks that Kanako likes - twin pigtails, sweet looking etc(see cover of Volume 1). Mariya’s also an excellent student, a member of the school’s archery club and the grandchild of the school’s former chairman. The only problem? Mariya is actually a…. guy. And he’s a sadist. Yay, that’s even more corny.
Anyhow, the two discover each others’ secrets and are forced to keep them or the other will blab. And by some incredible twist of manga fate, the pair become roommates.
There’s another character I’ll mention here, called Matsurika (on the cover of Volume 2). She’s Mariya’s maid, has a wild tongue and loves to pick fights with anybody and everybody. But still, she’s incredibly faithful to him.
So I flicked through some of the first volume, and well…….. it’s stupid, is the best thing I can say. I’m in the process of obtaining the rest of the 15 chapters out so far, and I’ll tell you what I think once my brain has processed it fully.
And oh yes, the drama CD cast (release date unknown) according to MOON PHASE :
Miyamae Kanako: Hirano Aya
Shido Mariya: Kobayashi Yu
Matsurika: Inoue Marina
