Minami-ke Character Song Album Release Info

Oh yes, we are getting a duet between Sensei and Ninomiya-kun…

…except we’re about 4-5 months late? So yeah, the CD (called Minamike Biyori) is out in 5 days time (23rd April 2008 - cost ¥3000), so here’s a look at the tracklisting:

Tracklist
01.Haru-ai. Sato Rina (Minami Haruka)
02.Tokumori Happy. Inoue Marina (Minami Kana)
03.Kado no Kitai ni Goyojin. Chihara Minori (Minami Chiaki)
04.Mirai Travel. Mizuki Nana (Minami Toma)
05.MATOKONOKO. Morinaga Rika (Makoto)
06.Se, no. Kitamura Eri & Toyosaki Aki (Uchida & Yoshino)
07.Sakurairo Love Letter. Kakihara Tetsuya (Fujioka)
08.Hibi X Hibi = Happiness. Takahashi Ao & Goto Saori (Riko & Keiko)
09.No problem. Ono Daisuke (Hosaka)
10.Girl Jundo UP↑. Takagi Reiko & Ono Ryoko (Maki & Atsuko)
11.Futari no Rondo yo Eien ni~The Ai to Jonetsu no Rondo~. Asanuma Shintaro & Ohara Momoko (Sensei & Ninomiya-kun)
BONUS TRACK: Kado no Kitai ni Goyojin~Moshimo Chiaki ga Utattara Ver. Chihara Minori (Minami Chiaki)

Plaudits:
1.Since we seem to be going back to ye olden times of Minami-ke (Doumu version), we have no Fuyuki song! Wheeee.
2.Two versions of the same song by Chihara Minori - one in normal Minorin mode, the other in deadpan Chiaki mode. Win! (Hopefully the song is good).

Complaints:
1.Since we seem to be going back to ye olden times of Minami-ke (Doumu version), why don’t we have a ‘The Other Minami Brothers’ song? Granted, their (Kawada Shinji, Yoshino Hiroyuki, Hayama Tatsuya) singing is probably crap but still… T_T
2.No Hayami-senpai (the craze-when-drunk yuriyuri one) song? Criminal! Even Maki & Atsuko, the ones that nobody remembers, got their own song!

Wow, even if I haven’t watched Minami-ke yet. I am so going to listen to this. Mizuki Nana, Inoue Marina, and Chihara Minori all on one CD? WIN!! Haha, I’m looking forward to comparing the two Minorin songs…XD

Ono Daisuke and Kitamura Eri pique my interest just a bit as well. Goto Saori…I like her gentle voice, but I’ve never found any of her songs particularly memorable yet. I haven’t heard Takagi Reiko other than her role in La Corda d’Oro, but she sounds like she’d be a decent singer.

The others I don’t know, but I’ll find out later :)

    Neo Horizon:

Zomg, want. :O Since they’re releasing this so late, I hope that means that there are plans for an OST release too…

wow, are they gonna sing in character? Most of them r great singers, so I might buy this later.. just spent $ on ALIPRO 1st dvd..

….and yes, why no Chiba Saeko’s song? T__T

wai~ KitaEri! think she mentioned it recently on her blog.
would have liked the producers to have been shot for excluding Chiba Saeko, but perhaps they made up for it by giving us more Minorin?

I haven’t seen Minami-Ke, but there are songs by Marina Inoue and Minori Chihara on that CD…DO WANT!

    >Neo Horizon
Most of the tracks used in the anime have already been released on the special discs that came with the DVDs so it’s unlikely there’ll ever be a separate OST release.

just realised that the Sensei and Ninomiya-kun song can be heard on KitaEri’s ChoRaji #58, somewhere around the 30:45. It’s actually a -gasp!- proper (albeit somewhat dramatic) song! lays to rest thoughts that it’s lyrics would consist only of “Sensei! Ninomiya-kun!” XD

    j1m0ne:

I think I might’ve preferred it if it just went “Sensei! blablabla, Ninomiya-kuuuun!” like the bit in the bridge The song is so…gay XD I’m surprised Ohara Momoko is actually a pretty decent singer though.

    Sigh, no Chiba Saeko (Hayami-senpai) song… >_>

Ono Daisuke’s (Hosaka) song should be interesting though. His “Amaoto” (雨音) song/PV was something quite different from your typical, comedic OnoD, so it makes me wonder which mood his Minami-ke song will go with. (Probably stupid/silly, but Hosaka does have a “poetic” side, so I guess I’ll have to wait and see.)
