Seiyuu GrandPrix presents Say! Good Luck!

Normally I’d just bung this up on eSnips but because Hirano Aya is the assistant personality (so others might be looking for it) I’ll just put up a torrent. Anispa host Washizaki Takeshi is the main personality for this special program( to commemorate the website/mag renewal etc) that aired on the 9th of June. Washizaki pulled out pictures from old issues of the magazine (Seiyuu GrandPrix) that embarassed Hirano ^^;

Got it because Kobayashi Yu is the featured guest but there’s also special messages from the likes of Tamura Yukari, Miyano Mamoru and Shintani Ryoko.

Grab the torrent

Hirano and Kobayashi Yu already knew each other for a few years - both of them work pretty closely with Seiyuu GrandPrix and have featured regularly in their picture shoots etc. Kobayashi writes, or rather draws a regular column for the magazine called ゆう画伯のコレはなんでしょう!? (Yu Gahaku no Kore wa Nandeshou!? ; Artist Yu - What On Earth Is This!?) which Hirano says she’s a big fan of ^^;; Oh dear. Kobayashi produced another one of her masterpieces again which of course made all the staff burst into laughter. I’ve posted a couple of times about the subject so have a look through them. Enjoy the show…..

Anyone else who follows Kobayashi Yu might be aware of her obsession with gummy sweets and what she calls 豚のご飯 (Buta no gohan ie pork rice) which she repeatedly mentions in her radio shows, blogs, interviews etc. She even influenced Satou Rina (Negi’s seiyuu) to develop a similar obsession with those gummy sweets as well. These strange fixations have been the butt of a lot of jokes (along with her drawing skills & gorilla-aping tendencies) and I do actually feel sorry for her sometimes cos she appears to have no idea she’s being made fun of.

Anyway, Yu-tan is now doing a column for Seiyuu Grandprix mobile called Kobayashi Yu to Butaniku to Hakumai (Kobayashi Yu, Pork and White Rice) named after her favourite foods (Good God). Her blog used to be a private one and only acessible to members of her fanclub on her site, but I’m guessing a surge in popularity recently has seen her management keen to get her as much exposure as possible. She now has two parallel blogs running; the Seiyuu Grandprix one and her own personal blog Yu no Jiyucho. Also posts frequently on the Saint October blog. Of course, she has to get someone else to do all of it for her, as she is completely technologically impaired….. as Seki Toshihiko said - Ojousama desu ne?
