Happy V-day to all three of you who celebrate it. Oh yes, another image-heavy post - it’s really just an excuse for me to drool over chocolates. Nice to know that half the seiyuu world is as bored as I am.
The Chocolate Fiends
Ikezawa Haruna showed off pics of chocolate sent to her by fans, and also made her own maple + vanilla tea milk-filled fondant chocolat - something she intends to serve as a dessert if she ever opens her own cafe.
Kanou Mari gave out hand-made mini chocolate cakes to all the staff members at the recording she was at, including Saki Fujita.
Shiraishi Ryoko got cookies from agency senpai Toyoshima Machiko (hand-made) and Himawari! colleague Otake Yuko (store-bought)
Fukuen Misato gave Mizuki Nana chocolate in a nice box. Nana went to a patissier and had special Star(camp)-shaped chocs made for her staff members, including chocolate bears….
Minorin made chocolate parfaits with the help of some acquaintances from a cafe.
Rose-shaped chocs that Ise Mariya gave to the rest of the Precure staff and seiyuu.
Mitsuishi Kotono may be old enough to be some of you guys’ mums, but she sure got good taste in chocolates ^^; I could never give such cute chocs away…….
Nabatame Hitomi sent out Valentine’s Day cards to 100 randomly drawn names, chosen from people who had written her fan letters in the past. They were written with the help of her mother (aka Maruhime), and enclosed within was a picture of Naba with her new (short) haircut. Nice to be a fan of hers then…..
Kadowaki Maii’s thank you message to everyone who sent chocolates.

Ochiai Yurika ate a pasta dinner alone.
Kitamura Eri got the day off today - she spent the morning making nikujaga and doing her monthly illustration for Comic High. And going to Animate to buy Copic marker pens. At night, KitaEri attended singer Stephanie’s Valentine live event; guess she must have wangled free tickets off her since they share the same agency.
Kuwatani Natsuko must be very bored, since she’s spent the last few days, including today uploading pictures from her ski trip (which she dubbed the Snowball Tour) at the start of the month - she went with fellow singleton seiyuu Ueda Kana, Shimizu Kaori and harem pimp Yoshino Hiroyuki.
Nakagawa Shoko celebrated V-day by moving blogs and dressing her poor cat Mamitas up with a mikan head. I predict Shoko-tan will never get married, cos there’s nobody in this world who could put up with an otaku who spends hundreds of thousands of ¥¥¥ on a full-body Ultraman outfit.
I’m guessing all the other souls who didn’t post anything on their blogs were busy celebrating somewhere, boo hoo hoo.

Happy V-Day to you too, and great post. I thought the Shoko Nakagawa one was hilarious. If you ask me, though, there should be hordes of otaku lining up to marry her… something tells me thousands would volunteer in a heartbeat.
