Third Seiyuu Awards Voting, Kujibiki Style
Since the Seiyuu Awards are basically screwed, I don’t think I shall bother voting seriously this time around. So I decided to pick them randomly.
What I really wanted to do was write all the seiyuu names on sticks and shake them out of a can (see above) like what people do to get their omikuji in shrines but er… I neither had sticks nor a can. So that was out of the picture, heh.
Instead, I wrote them all out on pieces of paper, dumped them in a box and picked them out at random.
I wrote all of the seiyuu as they came to mind (in about 15 minutes), so they obviously don’t reflect my true feelings as such xD I threw in a couple of silly choices as well ^^

Sorry I mumbled so much (it’s best to turn the volume off too, my commentary sucks). It’s the way I normally talk, everyone complains that it’s like my mouth is full of marbles :/ Maybe I should subtitle the video… but then, I can’t decipher half of what I’m saying either :/ I need speech therapy.
And the results – some were so stupid I didn’t want to put them in (ie Namikawa & Okamoto). Oh well, entered my votes anyway:
Best Male: Kishio Daisuke
Best Female: Sawashiro Miyuki

Best Supporting Female: Tanaka Rie
Best New Male: Okamoto Nobuhiko
Best New Female: Nakajima Megumi

The roles are arbitrary, really. They didn’t announce them at this year’s awards, and I don’t expect them to next year.
Learn some seiyuu names in kanji (or ask me) and vote on the Seiyuu Awards website!

I almost LOLed when you said, “Oh God” as you pulled out the paper for Best Song. Why did you even bother putting that in as a choice anyway? XD I would laugh if that really turned out to be the winner (hopefully not =_=).
Of your random draws, I think the only one I agree with is Nakajima Megumi as Best New Female. Sawashiro Miyuki as Best Female’s not too bad of a choice either, but eh, it was all based on luck of the draw. XD
Maybe I should do the same thing since I can’t decide who to vote for anyway =_=
I’m not too crazy about the nominees this year, but I’m glad that Kamiya Hiroshi is getting some more recognition. Also, I can’t think of a good anime song sung by a seiyuu from this year to save my life. Maybe because they’re not that memorable. Wait, there’s Namidax3 and…I’ve got nothing ^^;.
