Tomatsu Haruka in Evangelion 2.0?
Rumours abound. Anyway, it seems there’s a new character (the one on the bottom right?) for the next Eva movie Evangelion: 2.0 – You Can (Not) Advance. The flyer above also mentions interviews with Miyamura Yuko (voice of Asuka) and Tomatsu Haruka (Nagi in Kannagi etc) so naturally… Tomacchan’s gonna voice that new character, right? I’m told that the new character is Yamagishi Mayumi. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m probably the only person on the internet who doesn’t give a shit about Evangelion but if it’s true that Tomatsu’s gonna be in it – my god. How on earth did Sony blag their way to getting her involved with one of the legendary anime franchises. GJ!
On the other hand, I’d be totally amused if it was fake. I’m sort of hoping it is fake, I can foresee a lot of anti-Tomatsu threads popping up pretty soon…
Anyway, off for a short weekend trip (it’s Deepavali holidays here) which I’ll no doubt spend playing Castlevania. See y’all around!
Hmm… interesting piece of news. They are trying to rejuvenate the franchise with the movies, so having some new seiyuus in bound is a good thing. This could be a big break for Haruka depending on how things turn out.
Its those sexy legs of hers, I’m sure that’s what convinced the producers.

Yes..! I really hope this goes well. If she’s really in there, I may go to *actually* buy my 1st ever animated movie!! But then again, I wonder if she could conjure another special voice for that Yamagishi Mayumi.

YEAH!I don’t care about NGE much either!^^ I did buy the original version dvd set but only ’cause it was on sale. Never finished past episode two. To be honest the only thing leaves me interested a bit are the Gainax girls…^^: Sure their works are usually overrated but at least the girls are pretty cute….hehe.(is it just me or their work with lead being wussy losers tend to get more acclaimed…^^;)
Speaking of Haruka-chan, I went to the Shibuya Tower Record to reserve the single LE version right after arrived at the apartment so I could go to her event.^^ Even postpone my return trip to the next morning(3rd) so I could make it after seeing Marina on the same day.^^ Actually wanted to go back during night but there’s no night flight during week days so my dream of seeing her with the rest Music Ray gals live is crushed.^^; For some reason my back was killing me…probably due to lack of sleep or something lately but still manage to drag myself to reserve the CD. Here’s a tip for those who plan to reserve something anime related in a more variety genres store like Tower Recrod, You have to go to the floor for OST and misc to do it.^^; Not the Jpop/J indie floor…there I just saved you guys the possible future embrassment.;)
@D: ..and why would you want to reserve anime-related things in a ‘normal stores’? They don’t give the correct bonus!

Well, it’s true she is going to have three same event for the sinle at other places like Gamers and Ishimaru but those are alot earlier.(12:00 and 14:00) Since I’m going to see Marina on the same day, Tower record one is the latest and fits in the schedule.^^ The real tickets aren’t handed out yet only the numbered ticket thingie with the reservation. That make sense since the reservation didn’t cost a dime at all. So people will get passes after they paid for their order when it’s coming out on 29th(28th night would be out I heard from the nice clerk at the “right” floor…^^;).
Going to Mamimami’s event at Gamers tomorrow and Mikako’s PayoPayo in the evening.^^ Wait it’s 26th already here…hehe
*envious & jealous…* Dang! Now I’m relly determined to clear my year-end exams with flying colours so that I can get into a good school so that I can learn some good animation skills so that I can go to japan and work in the anime industry so that I can sell my own anime and get Haruka chan to voice as one of the characters!!!!!! >_< $#%#$%#@$^$%!!
I love NGE, but I don’t give a crap about the new character. It doesn’t matter who will play her; it won’t excite me either way.
Here’s a short report for you guys since I’m too lazy to have my own blog.^^ Browsed around Akiba a bit trying to get a cell phone still before the event.(yeah I know even the prepaid one requires a visa long than 90 days but alot people somehow got it but me…>_<) Saw a big line in front of Gamers so I assumed it’s the event line so waited there until it was almost event time…turned out it was the line for purchasing some special cards they were selling.(even within the building there was a line for cards…) So another tip for you guys if attending events, don’t line up blindly and ask first to make sure…^^; Luckily I realized I wasted a half hour like an idiot, ran upstairs to the 8F and draw a number in hurry because pretty much I was the last one being there for the event while everyone was seated or standed there already. Kinda lucky(or unlucky?) ’cause I managed to get seat 23 which was the second roll and the seat in front of me was empty.
After few min it started, first was the eh… I have no idea who he was exactly warm up the crowd a bit then she came out after we called her. Have to say she looked alot in person than pictures I’ve seen so far from te magazine. Maybe ’cause she had the pony tail on the side. I did notice she has a rather long neck although nothing freakish obvious so still think she looked pretty good. The talk was mini like the event listed. Basically just talked about how today is the 6th one and the last day of it after going on few weeks, how she said she’s nothing like Haruka but in reality everyone didn’t really think so because how she always answer that question with a bit kidding reply(apparent she’s serious…^^; She also said sumimasen with a shi which is pretty cute.^^), also a bit little bit kidding on the Nabatama the Dakashiya oobachan since that guy was with her yesterday for the new Ichigo Mashimarrow preview at Akiba UDX(as we all know Mamimai is in it too.^^) and few little bits I can’t quite remember. Then it was time for the handshake. I never been to this kind of event letting along a Japanese one so no idea what you can do and all. Found out you can actually give them something and that was why the store staff put two baskets on the first.(I was wonder what the hell that was for…^^;) Other than the handshake, you can also talk to the person as long as you like within reasonable time. So I didn’t get buy anything for her and had to come up with a little talk with my crappy Japanese before my turn. Well at least now I know so I’ll prepre a better one for Haruka-chan and maybe get something for the event.(I’m thinking to get that nattou coffee jelly Kurama sandwich since it’s kinda unique and heard it’s actually pretty good at least according to her fellow Music Ray member, Ayahi and the co-host, Asamuma Shintarou for D.C.II radio.) Since everyone all tried to use this chance to talk to Mamimami in person and enjoy the handshake(she put both her hands hold everyone so some people actually did the same back which looks kinda weird I thought. I just used one hand.)so I had enough time to come up with something. Said nice to meet her and from Taiwan, asked if she’s been there yet and I’ll be cheering up for her from there after this. Nothing special. Guess now I have more motivation for improving my Japanese speaking.^^; By the way, there were only like two girls there and obviously it was kinda short unless you stay around to see everyone going up.
After that, obviously browsed around Gamers and bought few Nogizaka goods in memory of this event^^; since they take back the pass(good thing I took pic of it already) and all u got was the seat draw ticket. Renewed my Gamers card while paying for it. Then it was to browsing around Akiba again before going to Payo Payo open recording. Here’s yet another tip, if you ever want to attend that(they do it about once a month except November and always the same place if I remember correctly.), Machiya Moobu hall is not outside of the Tokyo Metro at Machiya station but in the 3F of the same building…^^; On the top of that the staff’s reply about the event didn’t say 3F so I was puzzled where the hell it was ’cause first two floor are like a mall…
Anyway after I finally found it and again just in time before it started. Quite few people were there since most of the seats are filled so about 190 total I think. Also quite a bit of female attenders there obviously due to Terashima Takuma.;) Joining the event by the door obviously means the seat wasn’t great but at least still can see fairly clear. It started as usual like you can check out at animate tv except few glitch with the music being played in wrong order. Mikako mentione she was at a friend’s Karaoke b-day party and sang Onegai My Melody which everyone there was into it alot and all. Then few fan letters. The second part is the quiz game thingie with the guest as usual. I always thought it was kinda odd they do this before the talking part with the guest…^^; Mikako and Takuma actually did pretty well with 3 out of 4. Takuman really wanted to win the 10 grand because first when he came out, mentioned he lost his cell phone just today… The third part was the talk and fan letter for the guest. I personally don’t paid that much attention to male seiyuu so don’t remember him much other than few roles he did(of course Apollo….you can’t forget big roles like that.;) and faintly about him really into galge something like that from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensi radio. He looks not bad plus quite interesting especially when he talked about the games and all.(also action figure/toy where he played his Aquarion and other he has…hehe) I have to say I like him more now. Especially I did the same stupid things when I play those game although haven’t done that much lately due to being too lazy.(too mucch reading even though they are pretty all full voice now and the self voicing does tire you out….hahaha) After the recording, they did the draw for signed calendar, pamphlet, cards and that completed SD gundam RX-178 MK-II Titan version(even though he said so himself why a Gundam when he has nothing to do with it at all…^^;) Takuman did this morning with the line finishing plus signatue on the box. Didn’t have much luck getting anything so bought the caneldar myself since there were no ticket stub or whatever. After it was over, a lot of girls and some guys were taking picture of that SD gundam Takuman did. Guess the guy got it must felt pretty popular then…hehe. Was gonna take a pic of it too while at it but waited too long.^^; Plus who am I gonna show it to anyway?^^
…working in the Japanese anime industry is a shitty job. As are most jobs in Japan, so it seems
