Trickster in at No.2 on the Oricon Daily
Er, I think I need to re-examine my belief in Nana and her fans.
It seems Nana fans are out in full force on the first day, everyone else has spent their money on the NEWS singles and not bought any of the others.
Who wants to be the eternal optimist and predict that Nana will hold on to that No.2 spot? I’ll play it safe and predict that a late week surge will see Hikawa Kiyoshi and KOH+ overtaking her. I hope I’m wrong…
I offer Nana in a box to make up for my lack of faith.
Go, Nana fans! Buy 10 copies of Trickster each & er… show off how scary powerful otaku are, or something.

Well, it’s not surprising to see Nana-chan’s single trickster getting no.2 in Oricon chart. Sadly it’s released on the same date as NEWS’ Happy Birthday. Somehow I know Nana-chan’s fan power cannot beat NEWS because…the same time I pre-order ONE copy of trickster single, my friend…a big fangirl of NEWS asked me to help her order TWO copies of NEWS single Happy birthday. One copy of the limited edition and one copy of the regular edition. I asked her why not two copies of Limited Edition, she said “in case there’s anything different in the regular edition…I want them too…”. See? I lost 2-1 lol.

o_O @ your friend, townberry.
D: I can’t order things online any more until I get myself a credit card…which won’t be happening for a longggg while. D: (usually uses cousin’s; and he had great timing to leave the country (probably forever) a few days ago.)

Great!! CDJapan is out of first press when I was going to order more, so I thought that could be a good sign but this is great ^.^
I don’t mind buying 13 copies if I can get all the different bromides they’re giving in Japan’s music stores (which is quite hot in Yahoo Auction now).
…whatever, getting another 4 now, hopefully HMV won’t turn me down and give me the sleeve packs.

[...] looking at the Oricon chart, as j1m0ne also mentioned, there’s *no way* Trickster will outsell Johnny’s gay group NEWS’s [...]

Good job to Nana and her fans for getting Trickster into top 2!
Now she only needs to hold on to the position for the weekly charts. Lets hope she can do it.

Kiyoshi has overtaken Nana today, but Trickster remains slightly ahead in the overall index number stakes. He’s a very consistent seller, I reckon his chances of beating Nana are about 90%.

Maybe it’s just me, but I wasn’t altogether too impressed with her album. Amongst Nana’s albums, this one ranks below average with me and Trinity Cross was probably the only track that really caught my attention as I was listening to it.

@zzeroparticle
You mean this single, yeah? As much as I like Trinity Cross, it was personally the song with the least impact for me on Trickster. You can pretty much take any Shikura Chiyomaru song; change a couple of things here, recycle some bits there - you’ll get something close to Trinity Cross, SECRET AMBITION etc. He’s too predictable.
I think I’m beginning to sound like a broken record now, but I’ll say again that anyone looking for something close to the Nanoha songs will be disappointed with Trickster anyhow. While the rest of us who loved weird sounding stuff like Anone~~, Faith or RUSH&DASH continue to look forward to hearing what else Nana can possibly surprise us with
