Upgrading to Wordpress 2.5 + Seiyuu Picture Spamtravaganza
Having just moved over from Blogger less than a month ago, I was fairly amused to learn that Wordpress was upgrading to a new version which meant I had to learn to do even more stuff that is alien to this sad old technophobe. Happily, I’ve lost my WP virginity (I think) but am still struggling to understand the concepts of contraception, lubrication, penetration, obfuscation and all that jazz.
Oh well, decided to take the plunge anyhow to see how far I could fall. The entire process took less than 3 minutes using the Automatic Upgrade plugin and things are looking OK so far, everything’s working and no bugs encountered as yet. But still, I’m going to take this opportunity to test out stuff by spamming with random seiyuu pictures. I promise you they’re (mostly) nice ones this time.

It took you only less than 3 mins? Damnit. I just switched over to WP recently and was so scared that I’d **** something up that it took me nearly an hour to do the simple upgrade (didn’t do the automatic update plugin way, which may explain things …) .
And that Inoue Marina pic kinda freaks me out …

WP2.5 certainly looks more polished. Still getting used to buttons being moved around, but I’m liking the changes made to the ‘Write’ pages so far (slug editing etc). I preferred drag-n-drop with the widgets though

I chuckled at the comment on Koyasu’s pic, to tell you the truth. I should be ashamed, being one of his fans and all ^^;
Aaaand on another note, I love the picture of Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya together!

Ah, the drag and drop widgets were hit and miss for me; I would always drop them in the wrong place and miss it or something. Maybe that’s why they changed it for the… less coordinated/careful people like me.
